Privacy policy.
Effective September 5, 2026
This policy explains what Tech Allies collects through this website, why we collect it, who we give it to, and what you can ask us to do about it. If anything here is unclear, call 636-328-7944 and ask.
What we collect
What you give us. When you send a form or call us: your name, your business name, your phone number, your email address, your website address, the trade you work in, the city you serve, what is going wrong, and anything else you choose to write.
What you give us on Facebook or Instagram. When you fill in one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta sends us your name, your business name, email and phone number as prefilled from your profile (you can edit them before you submit), your answers to the questions on the form, whether you checked the text message box, and a lead id that identifies your form submission. We treat it the same as a form sent on this site.
What your browser sends. The page you landed on, the page that sent you, the campaign parameters on the link, your approximate location from your IP address, your device and browser type, and the pages you view here. We store the landing page and campaign in a first-party cookie so we can tell which ad or search brought you.
What we do not collect. We do not ask for payment card numbers, government identifiers or health information through this website. Please do not send them to us in a form.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, and to call, text or email you about the request you sent.
- To prepare the free website review when you ask for one.
- To decide whether we can help, and to write you a scope and a price.
- To measure which ads and search terms produce real inquiries, so we do not waste money on the ones that do not.
- To keep this site working, to stop spam and abuse, and to keep records we are required to keep.
Phone calls and text messages
Sending a form, here or on Facebook or Instagram, lets us call or email you about that request. Text messages are separate. We send texts only to people who check the text message box on a form, who text us first, or who call us and do not get through. The box is never checked for you, and checking it is never a condition of buying anything from us. Giving us your phone number on its own is not consent to text. If the box is blank, or the record of it did not reach us, no text is sent from us. If you call us and we cannot pick up, we may send one text back about that call; reply STOP and it stops. The box on our forms covers non-marketing texts only: your request and appointment scheduling. We do not send marketing texts. If that ever changes we will ask for it with a separate box, never by adding it to this one.
When you check the box we keep a record of the exact words beside it, the version label of that wording, the form it was on, the date and time, and the page or ad it came from, so we can show you asked for texts. That record is kept as long as the inquiry itself.
You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by telling us to stop in any other reasonable way, including by calling or emailing. We honor a request to stop within ten business days of receiving it, and in practice much faster. Reply HELP to any message for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Full detail is on our SMS terms page.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Advertising and analytics on this site
When they are switched on, this site uses Google Analytics and the Meta pixel, and we may send Meta a record of a completed form from our own server. These tools tell us that an inquiry came from a particular ad or search. They involve giving Google and Meta information about your visit, and Meta may match a completed form to a Facebook or Instagram account. We do not send them the contents of your message.
When you send a lead form on Facebook or Instagram we also send Meta an update as that inquiry moves along: whether we made contact, whether we judged it a fit, whether a call was booked and held, whether we sent a written scope, whether it became a paying customer and the amount of the first payment, or whether it closed without going ahead. Meta receives your email and phone number in scrambled form and the lead id, not the contents of your messages, and uses it to judge which ads produced real inquiries.
If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, this site does not load the advertising pixel for your visit and does not send Meta the server record of your form. You can also block these tools with your browser settings or an ad blocker, and the site will work normally.
Who else sees it
The people who run Tech Allies, and the companies whose tools we use to do the work: our website host, our email provider, the customer system where we store inquiries, the phone and text messaging providers that carry our calls and messages, Meta when it passes us a lead form you sent on Facebook or Instagram, and the analytics and advertising platforms described above. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade your contact details, and we do not add you to newsletters you did not ask for.
We will hand over information if the law requires it, and we may transfer records if the business is ever sold, in which case this policy travels with them.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
- Ask us to correct it, and we will.
- Ask us to delete it, and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
- Tell us to stop contacting you, by any method, at any time.
Email josh@techallies.co or call 636-328-7944. We will not treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under your state privacy law, and you can use the same contact details to exercise them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and the record of your contact preferences are kept for about five years after our last contact with you, because we may need to show that you asked us to contact you. Analytics records are kept for the period set in the platform, which is shorter. Ask us to delete sooner and we will, subject to records we are required to keep.
Security and children
We use accounts with passwords and two-factor authentication, and we limit who can open the systems that hold inquiries. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. This site is meant for people in business, and it is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the effective date at the top. If the change is significant we will say so on this page rather than quietly rewriting it.
