Terms of service.

Effective September 3, 2026

What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of this website only. Any work Tech Allies does for you is governed by a separate written services agreement signed by both of us. If these terms conflict with a signed services agreement, the signed agreement controls for the work it covers.

By using this site or sending us a form, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Who can use this site

You need to be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. The site is meant for people acting for a business. Do not use it to break a law, to scrape it, to probe it for weaknesses, or to send us anything malicious.

The free digital audit

The audit is free and it puts you under no obligation. It is our review of what we can see from outside: your website, your search presence, your business profile, your ads where they are visible, your reviews and your follow-up. It is an opinion, not a certification, and it is not a promise of any particular result if you act on it. You are free to take the report and fix things yourself, or hand it to someone else.

No promised results

Nothing on this site is a promise of rankings, lead volume, revenue or a specific position in any search result or AI answer. Search engines, ad platforms and AI assistants are controlled by other companies and change without telling us. Anything we say about timing is our estimate based on the work in front of us.

Nothing here is legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice. Get your own advisers for that.

What you send us

You keep ownership of what you send us. By sending it, you give us permission to use it for the purpose you sent it for, such as running an audit or scoping a project. You are telling us that you have the right to share it, and that it is accurate as far as you know. Please do not send confidential material through a web form, and do not send payment card numbers or health information at all.

We handle information as described in our privacy policy. Text messaging is covered by our SMS terms.

What is ours

The text, layout, code, illustrations and marks on this site belong to Tech Allies or to whoever licensed them to us. You may read the site, print a page and quote a short passage with credit. You may not copy the site or a substantial part of it, resell it, or use our name or logo to suggest we endorse you.

Ownership of work we build for a client is set by the signed services agreement for that work, not by this page.

Sites and tools other companies run

We link to other sites and we use tools other companies run. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what they do or what they publish. Their terms and their privacy policies apply when you use them.

The site is provided as it is

This website is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether stated or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of anything harmful, and we do not promise the information on it is complete or current. Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties, so parts of this paragraph may not apply to you.

Limits on what we owe you

To the extent the law allows, Tech Allies is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or lost business, arising out of your use of this website, even if we were told such damages were possible. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to this website is limited to one hundred United States dollars. This paragraph is about the website. Liability for work we are engaged to perform is dealt with in the signed services agreement for that work.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

If your use of this site, or something you send us, causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to defend us and to cover the resulting losses and reasonable legal costs, to the extent the claim arises from what you did.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute connected to this website will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Missouri, and we each consent to those courts. Nothing stops either of us from bringing a claim in small claims court where it qualifies.

Changes and ending access

We may change this site or these terms. When we change the terms we will change the effective date at the top, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version. We may withdraw access to the site from anyone who misuses it.
