Web design in St. Louis, built to make the phone ring.

Most sites for service businesses are brochures. They look fine and they sell nothing. This is the other kind: fast on a phone, clear about what you do, and obvious about what to press next.

What actually matters

A site for a service business has one job.

Someone has a problem, they found you, and they are deciding whether to call. Everything else is decoration.

The visit is almost always on a phone, it lasts under a minute, and the person is comparing you against two other tabs. That is the whole design brief. It means the page has to load before they give up, say what you do and where you do it without being scrolled, and put a phone number where a thumb already is.

It also means a page for each service you sell. A single page listing nine trades ranks for none of them and answers nobody. If you fit furnaces and you also do drain work, those are two different searches, two different worries, and two different pages.

None of that is exotic, and that is the point. Most sites in this market lose on load speed, a buried phone number and one page trying to do nine jobs, not on anything clever.

We are in Wentzville, Missouri, on the western side of the St. Louis metro, and we work with service businesses across the country as well.

How a build runs

Plan, build, hand over.

Plan the pagesWe agree what the site has to say, what it has to prove, and which services get their own page. That page plan is where most of the ranking comes from later.
Build and measureBuilt in code, checked on real phones, with speed measured before launch rather than promised after it.
Launch and hand it overIt goes live in your accounts, in your name, with a written handover. If you leave, it goes with you.

What you get

What is in the build.

One build, all of it under your name.

  • Built in code on your own domain and hosting, not rented inside a page builder
  • Fast on a phone, because that is where most of these visits happen
  • Click-to-call in the header on every screen, and an estimate form on every page
  • A real page for each service you sell, not one page listing all of them
  • Copy written for someone standing in a driveway deciding whether to call
  • Technical search work, structured data and analytics set up before launch
  • Landing pages that match your ads word for word, when you run them
  • The domain, the code and the accounts in your name, with a written handover

Common questions

Questions people ask.

If your question isn’t here, call 636-538-5252 and ask.

Are you actually in the metro, or is this a page with a city name on it?

We are on the western edge of it, in Wentzville, which is in St. Charles County. That is a real answer rather than a downtown address we do not have. Most of the work happens over calls and email either way, and we will meet you in person when it is worth the drive.

What does a website cost?

The site is part of the $500 a month plan, with no setup fee, month to month. That covers the build and the work that keeps it going. If you want a one-off build you own outright instead, say so and we will price it.

How long does a build take?

Usually a few weeks rather than a few months, because the page plan is agreed first and the build is done in code by the same people who planned it. The slow part is normally waiting on photos and copy approvals, so we tell you early what we need from you.

Will it rank on its own?

A good site is what rankings land on, not what causes them. It gets the technical parts right and gives you a real page per service, which is most of the on-page work. Local visibility also needs your Google Business Profile and reviews, and that is separate work we do alongside it.

Do I own it?

Yes. The domain, the code and the accounts are in your name, and there is a written handover. Hosting and the follow-up software are subscriptions that end if the plan ends, and we explain that before you sign.
