Local SEO across the St. Louis metro, run by the people who build the site.

A metro this size is not one map to win. It is a different map pack in every town you work, and a service business that covers several of them needs a plan built for that, not one page hoping a wide radius covers it.

Why a metro is not one search

Every town has its own map pack.

The map result someone sees is decided by where they are searching from, not by where your office sits.

A search for a trade and a town pulls up a map with three businesses under it, and that block is different in every town, because proximity is one of the signals that decides it. A business that only shows up well near its own address is invisible to a customer searching from the other side of the metro, no matter how good the website is.

That is the real difference between a metro page and a single-town page: the work is not one profile and a handful of pages, it is deciding which of your markets have enough real demand to build for directly, setting service areas correctly for the rest, and being honest that a dozen towns will not all move at once.

The technical and on-page work is the same four parts covered on the search engine optimization page: structure, technical health, off-page authority and the profile. What changes at metro scale is sequencing: which markets to build pages for first, and which are better served by a wide, accurate service-area setting than by a page nobody was searching for.

How it runs

Map the markets, then profile, then pages.

We map where you actually workA written review of the towns and neighborhoods you serve today, which ones already send you calls, and which map packs you are not showing up in at all.
Profile and pages, market by marketThe profile gets the service areas and categories right first, since that decides the map pack. Then pages for the services and towns with real demand behind them.
Reviews and the monthly noteRequests go out on their own at the end of every job, wherever the job was. Once a month you get a page showing which markets moved.

What the work is

What we actually do each month.

The same boring, unglamorous work as the home-town page, run across as many markets as you actually serve.

  • A Google Business Profile built for every town you actually serve, with service areas set instead of guessing at a radius
  • A page for each service and each market that has real search volume behind it, not one page trying to rank everywhere at once
  • Reviews asked for automatically at the end of the job, from customers across every town you work in
  • The same business name, address and phone everywhere Google reads them, checked market by market
  • Speed and mobile work, since most of these searches happen on a phone between jobs
  • A monthly note in plain English: which markets moved, which did not, what is next

Common questions

Questions people ask.

If your question isn’t here, call 636-538-5252 and ask.

How is this different from the Wentzville SEO page?

That page is built around one town and the county around it, for a business whose work is genuinely local to Wentzville. This page is for the wider St. Louis metro: a business covering several towns across it, where the job is winning more than one map pack rather than one.

I cover a dozen towns across the metro. Do I need a page for each one?

Usually not, and a dozen thin pages is a worse plan than a few real ones. We look at where the search volume and the jobs actually are and build pages for those, with your Google Business Profile service areas covering the rest. A page with nothing behind it does not help you.

Does it matter that we are not physically in every town we serve?

No. Google Business Profile lets a business that travels to customers set service areas instead of a public street address, and it is a normal, correctly-handled setup across a metro this size. What matters is that the areas are accurate and match where you actually go.

How long before it moves?

Profile changes can show up within weeks in the towns closest to the fix. Pages and reviews read as months, and a wider metro with more markets to win generally takes longer than one town, not less. Anyone who promises a date across every market is guessing.

Is this a separate cost from the plan?

No. Metro-wide local search work is part of the $500 a month plan, alongside the site, social posts and the follow-up system. No setup fee, month to month.
